All,
I would encourage you to check out the CCRI newsletter and to complete the research interest survey (link at the bottom of the newsletter, as is the opportunity to sign up for their newsletter). Deb Bragg and her team are invaluable partners in this work with us, with a trained focus on operationalizing and evaluating our equity gaps.
The survey will take less than 10 minutes.
Thank you!

Community College Research Initiatives

Hello!

This is the first of a monthly update from Community College Research Initiatives. In these emails we will share updates about our research on a range of issues related to community college students. You are receiving this email because we recently connected with you at a conference or meeting. We are reaching out because our work at Community College Research Initiatives (CCRI) seems well-aligned to your interests.

What does CCRI do?

Community College Research Initiatives’ portfolio includes research and development on a range of critical topics related to community college student success. We hold a clear and consistent focus on equity and outcomes for student populations historically undeserved by higher education in the United States. We actively study and advise nationally on pathways redesign; community college baccalaureates, STEM education; and much more.

November spotlight — High-Performing Transfer Partnerships data notes

This month we spotlight two briefs from our High-Performing Transfer Partnerships<http://discover.uw.edu/Luo0OQ00o11P0AF8Z0x0y08> study funded by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. Data Note 1<http://discover.uw.edu/Q0PO08Q0A20xu08oy10GoZ0> synthesizes current evidence on how student transfer experiences and outcomes are facilitated between two- and four-year colleges and universities. Data Note 2, “Including Racial Equity as an Outcome Measure in Transfer Research<http://discover.uw.edu/f00Py1x08300oQ0uA8OHZ0o>,” identifies baccalaureate attainment rates for two- and four-year institutional pairs and also describes how we select institutional pairs to better understand how transfer policies and programs work for underserved students.

What community college research interests you?

We would love to learn about the community college topics that most interest you. Please take a couple minutes to complete a three-question survey that asks about the questions and issues you are trying to solve in your work. We aim to focus our communications on what's most relevant to you.

Future communications

We look forward to staying in touch with you and sharing notices about new publications and news about our upcoming activities. We plan on sending these updates approximately once a month. Rest assured: We value your privacy and will never rent, sell or give your name or contact information to anyone. The footer of each email will include a link where you can easily update your preferences.

From all of us at Community College Research Initiatives, thanks for your interest in community college student success!

Sincerely,
