[ctcLinkfinaidsupport] 2024-2025 Housing Type Update

Good Morning FA-

Beginning with aid year 2025, the U.S. Department of Education removed the field for students to indicate their housing plan on their FAFSA/WASFA. Oracle has delivered fields to account for a housing type. The global default value has been set to Off Campus. For colleges that have Housing Type built into budget formulas, students will be assigned Off Campus. The attached document provides instructions for how to populate the housing type to On Campus or With Parent in batch or for an individual student.

IMPORTANT: The file review query in this document is not yet available in Production.  New queries are expected to migrate to Production the evening of Tuesday, 6/11.
