[Wsssc] Subcommittee Representation for System Meta-Major Work

Hello WSSSC,

As your Data Governance Committee (DGC) representatives, Steve Ashpole and I are seeking representatives to participate on a subcommittee to discuss meta-majors* in ctcLink.  The primary topics this committee will tackle are:

  *   Global "Pool" vs Institution defined meta-majors.
  *   If institution defined, how to associate local meta-majors to a global program grouping for system-wide reporting?
  *   How do we determine a meta-major for programs such as the general DTA that can be associated to more than one meta-major?
  *   How do we determine a meta-major for non-credential plan codes such as transitional studies, non-award seeking and apprenticeship?

We anticipate that the subcommittee will meet once every two weeks for 1.5 hours for approximately 3 months.  We are seeking cross-functional representation from our system's commissions and councils to have well-rounded, robust conversations.
