[Wsssc] FW: CBO Contracts for Financial Aid Outreach

Colleagues: this is a follow-up to my email on this topic this morning. I was asked at the WSSSC meeting to clarify how long the proviso funding ($80,00 per college per year) lasts. Our Operating Budget Director Cherie Berthon confirmed with me that it is ongoing funding, subject to Legislative action to terminate it at some point. Cherie also told me we get plenty of advance notice when funding of this type is going to be discontinued.

A couple of you asked if your college had already responded to the survey. Here are the colleges we have responses for as of this morning. If you are not on this list, we still need to hear from you via the quick survey at the link below. I know the four Pierce County colleges went in together on yours, so if one of you can fill out the survey for all 4, that would be great. Thanks!

Good morning, WSSSC. As promised at last week's WSSSC meeting, here is the link to the easy-to-complete survey to indicate which CBO you are contracting with for financial aid outreach. As a reminder, each college received an $80,000 allocation to contract with CBOs for this purpose. We have heard from 14 colleges so far. Once complete, we will share the information with you. If possible, please complete this survey by next Monday, October 31. Thanks.
