The Legislature has assigned the Office of Financial Management (OFM) to gather specific information about student access to health care resources, analyze the information, and report on findings.  We have drafted a survey to collect the information.

We would appreciate any suggestions or insights you can offer based on reading and responding to the survey questions.

The first question asks the survey participant about the specific location that the survey responses refer to.  This approach addresses institutions that have multiple locations where the availability of resources may vary.

The survey questions have a branching or skip structure.  If your response to a question suggests that follow up questions are not relevant, you will not see those questions.  You may want to try the survey a few times to see how this process works.

The current complete list of questions is attached as a pdf.  You can refer to the list for an overview of the survey.

Please contact us with questions about how the survey works or suggestions for improvement.

We would like to have your responses by October 21 to complete the survey for the initial official distribution.

Joe – I think WSSSC is the best starting point. The survey is oriented toward a higher level approach and WSSSC can determined if there is a better respondent at their individual colleges.

Dan has asked for some assistance developing a contact list for respondents for the Student Health Access Survey. I’m thinking Student Services Commission is possibly the best place to start?

If it isn’t the commission representative, they’d likely know who at their campus would be best to respond, and who would be the point of contact for student services at branch campuses. Does that make sense?
