Subject: Reopening Higher Education Plan Fall 2020

Happy Friday!

Just wanted to give you the latest information about the Reopening Higher Education Plan for Fall 2020 that was issued by the Governor's Office at the end of June.
The SBCTC has created a FAQ document to help with this transition, and to answer some of the questions that came from our information session held before the holiday weekend.
We anticipated sending out the FAQ document this week but heard yesterday that the Governor's Office will be issuing a revised proclamation providing clarity on quarantining, phase alignment, and class sizes (this last one is more pertinent to the four year institutions who have classes with over 100 students). So, we are going to wait until the proclamation is issued before we send out the FAQ document so we can make sure we are in alignment.
