[Wactclc-primo] [EXTERNAL*]- False Positive Citations

I think we should submit a case. This one appears to be more involved than the ones I have submitted in the past. Is it possible to create a case for those libraries that are experiencing this problem? Or should we do this individually?

One more thing that makes this even more confusing, when I go to ProQuest, and type in a search for this same title, Writing in the Discipline with instructional scaffolding in an RN-to-BSN Nursing Research Course, we actually DO have access to it in ProQuest and I can get the pdf. It says the databases in ProQuest that have it are ProQuest Research Library and eLibrary, which are the links that show up in Promo, except when I click on those links in Primo, it says I don't have access to it.

So, now I really don't know what's going on here or how to fix it. Should I open a case with Ex Libris???

Hi Traci:

We had the same problem!

I remember Wade talking about this in the call and I noticed that in the collections that had the problem, I did not have the box checked that says "Do not show as Full Text available in CDI even if active in Alma." I did check "Yes" to the statement that we subscribe to only some of the titles.

My question is should we be checking the box that says "Do not show as Full Text available...?"

I have the hardest time with some of the terminology that Ex Libris uses...

Hi Wade,

Are we still reporting false positives to you? Here is an article that is a false positive for Writing-in-the-Discipline With Instructional Scaffolding in an RN-to-BSN Nursing Research Course<https://sbctc-btcctc.primo.exlibrisgroup.com/permalink/01STATEWA_BTC/1d92elb/cdi_proquest_miscellaneous_2371858590>. The article is in ProQuest and eLibrary. ELibrary is a ProQuest product.

Thanks,
Traci
