The config.txt file is an ezproxy server file, not an Alma file. If you have ezproxy and you host it locally, then whoever is in charge of the ezproxy server (sometimes the library, sometimes I.T.) would need to edit the file and restart the server.

I'm late to the Ebsco problem, but is the config.txt file a file I can access and change accordingly in Alma or is this something only IT can work on? I submitted an IT ticket last week because a coworker suggested that as the proper course of action, but now I'm wondering if I can do it myself?

For those just seeing this, Ebsco has published an updated ezproxy stanza, and you should update your config.txt file accordingly.

Yes, updating the stanza works. The old stanza included "HJ openurl.ebscohost.com" but not "HJ https://openurl.ebscohost.com".

I do see that EL updated their info on 10/29/18 for the stanza one should have for Ebsco in the ezproxy config file. It's somewhat different from what OCLC suggests, as of 6/13/18.

It doesn't look like Ebsco has changed their URLs which is when I typically see that message. The URLs for the articles at the actual Ebsco site are in our EZProxy config file correctly.

Hi all,
Is anyone else seeing an error when they try to open EBSCO results through Primo today?
Here are some clues:
1. Our local EBSCO collection (that y'all know we just updated in Alma :)) is working fine
2. Our EBSCO databases on and off campus are working fine
3. Every EBSCO result I click on in Primo, gives an error like this:

Any ideas? I looked on Primo-L but have not seen this reported.
