[Wactclc-primo] suppressed item showing up in Primo

Amy,

You've probably deleted the record by now but...

The screen shot from your record in Alma doesn't show the little eye with the red line through it that you get with a suppressed record.  Here's an example of what you should see if the record is suppressed:

The other thing that stands out is that both the Physical and Electronic tabs at the bottom of the record are greyed out, meaning you don't have any physical items or portfolios connected to this record. For a journal that you have access to, I'd expect it to either look like the first record below (if you had print access), or like the second record below (if you had access via a database or standalone online subscription).

Given what Wade says about the record having been imported by a specific staff member, I'm guessing the record came in from OCLC (accidentally?)and that the links showing up in Primo were in MARC 856 fields in the original OCLC record and have nothing to do with your library.  I'd have to see what the record looks like in the MD Editor to know for sure.

My colleague pointed out a record to me in Primo that is inaccurate.  We do not have access to this title in any format, for any year.  When I look up the title in Alma, it appears to be suppressed from discovery so I’m very confused about where it’s coming from.  Before I delete it, do you have any insight?
