We send one pre-overdue reminder notice. Once an item is overdue, we send three courtesy notices. We call before sending the third notice (at 60 days). Next, bills over $100 are sent to collections through the Business Office. They take it from there with their own processes.

Hello everyone:

How much energy does your library put into "going after" students with lost books? We have Alma and everyone gets the overdue notices and the notice of fee if the book is not returned.

So then do you actively monitor all of those patrons and turn them in to ctcLink to get billed?

Thanks,

Gerie
