The 2022 WACCy Wednesday Webinars start on Wednesday!
WACCy Wednesdays are back!  In lieu of the annual in-person Washington Canvas Conference (WACC), the eLearning Council (ELC) is pleased to offer a second season of free WACCy Wednesday Webinars. The 2022 series will open on Wednesday, January 26th and continue with monthly webinars through June.

Raising an Eyebrow at Grades: Ungrading for Equity, Inclusion, and Success
“Ungrading” is a provocative concept that encompasses a wide spectrum of assessment and classroom policy design decisions. As Jesse Stommel put it, “‘Ungrading’ means raising an eyebrow at grades as a systemic practice, distinct from simply ‘not grading.’” Join Caleb to explore how grading policies relate to student equity, inclusion, and success, and to unpack some ungrading theories, practices, and techniques. Caleb will also discuss how Canvas can support ungrading and share a bibliography of additional resources to help you dive more deeply into this emerging topic.
