Me.

If you mean library technical services - I work closely with our cataloger (a classified position - doing copy cataloging, not original cataloging) for library material. I catalog material and equipment for the Media Center.

If you mean campus IT - I do 99.9% of the work with Voyager either by myself or with the help of the Orca System Administrator.

We don't use the acquisitions module, but acquisitions are done by the cataloger.

Subject: [LIBRARYDIR] systems management

Good morning!

In your library, who serves as the systems or electronic resources librarian?

Is it an MLS-prepared staff person, or a classified?

In what ways does this position work with technical services and with acquisitions?

What are their relationships?

Thanks!
