Thank you to all who participated in the FLF Process and the New Enrollment Intensity Queries Training Session held on Tuesday 09/17/2024.

Additionally, here is follow up to the parking lot question:


  1.  Do you have to update the Academic Load, FA Load and Enrollment Intensity on FA Term >> Acad Level?

  1.  It depends. 😊 Ideally all should correspond.  However, you may see Academic Load have a value of N = No Units.  But you may be overriding FA Load to apply a payment credit to an outstanding charge balance (think post-withdrawal disbursements).

Another scenario, Academic Load may not match FA Load because the student is in ABE/ESL classes and only some of the FA-eligible units count towards Financial Aid.  These are two scenarios where Academic Load and FA Load may be different.

What matters for the FLF Process is:  FA Load and Enrollment Intensity must correspond to the student’s enrollment level.  Meaning, if the student is Half-Time, their Enrollment Intensity value must also be Half-Time.

Example:  if you have an H (Half-Time Enrollment) in FA Load, Enrollment Intensity must reflect Half-Time values: i.e., 0.67, 0.58 or 0.50.
