Good Afternoon-
The cause of the packaging message noted below is due to an Oracle bug. This issue can be seen in Aid Year 2025 when awarding Pell. Oracle will be releasing a fix in a future PRP.
Until a fix is delivered, the Parent 1 SSN Match flag can be selected on the Database Matches in the Packaging Status Summary page.

Subject: [Dirfinaid] Pell Not Packaging
[Sent from outside SBCTC]
Morning!
Not sure if others are experiencing this but we have come across a number of students that have good ISIRs but have undocumented parents. Both FTI Consent sections are granted and signature received but when trying to package Pell, it comes up with the following error:
NUM
20
Message Number
9213
Item Type
Action
911000000000
Discard
DB Match: Mother and/or Father SSN Match indicates student is not eligible for Federal funds. If this is incorrect, make the appropriate change, and repackage the student.
After doing research on the differences, I'm seeing that Parent 1 lists an ITIN and Parent 2 does not list a SSN nor ITIN on the FAFSA. These FAFSAs are not rejected so it seems to be a ctcLink block? Is this a situation where I'm going to need to use the PJ function to award Pell or should these FAFSAs need corrected in some way?
Thank you,
Casey
