[ctcLink-Mobile] Two users reporting errors when attempting to access HCX Class Schedule from college webpage

If the users do not have a student security role and are logged in to PeopleSoft as an employee they will receive an error. The work around to this is to have the user use a browser where they are not logged into PeopleSoft, to use an incognito window of a browser, or to assign the user the student security role. This is a know issue that we are actively working on getting resolved.

Looking at the URL that is coded for the red button it is using the vanity URL as the base url. You should try using this URL to go directly to your class search: https://csprd.ctclink.us/psp/csprd/EMPLOYEE/SA/s/WEBLIB_HCX_CM.H_CLASS_SEARCH.FieldFormula.IScript_Main?institution=WA120

Hi Drake et al,

Centralia's webmaster has received two reports of users getting errors when attempting to access the HCX Class Schedule from the college webpage link.

Just wondering if anyone else is getting reports from users about error messages with the HCX link right now?

As we have tested on multiple devices/browsers and cannot yet replicate this, we are asking the users to provide a screenshot of the error message.
In the meantime, this is what our webmaster said:

On the class schedule page (https://www.centralia.edu/pathways/schedule.aspx), if you click the big red button it connects to this page: https://csprd.ctclink.us/psc/csprd/EMPLOYEE/SA/s/WEBLIB_HCX_GN.H_SPRINGBOARD.FieldFormula.IScript_Main?institution=WA120&.

Two people said they clicked it and got an error code. Even when I emailed them the direct link, they got an error code. I don't get an error code. One of the people was using MS Edge as their browser. I don't know what the other person was using.


We will submit a ticket as soon as we have something more concrete to report.
