The CTC Leadership Development Association
is still accepting applications for the Leadership Academy


This is a program that was developed to assist Washington State CTC system employees to advance and strengthen their leadership knowledge and skills. This will be accomplished through interactive workshops to analyze personal, organizational, and system goals or initiatives. The cohort will cover the following topics:

Day 1 - Leadership Fundamentals                            Day 2 - The Challenges of Leadership                                Day 3 - Developing Your Leadership

      Authentic Leadership                                                                     Change Management                                                                    Leadership Self-Assessment
     Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion                                 Having Difficult Conversations (With an HR Focus)                                                Future Growth

                                                                                                                   Project Management                                                                  Development Commitment Plan

The Leadership Academy will take place one day once a quarter over the Fall, Winter, and Summer quarter. These workshops will be the day before the CTCLDA Conferences so that participants can attend the conferences as well to continue their personal and professional development. The proposed dates for the workshops are subject to change, but as follows: November 29th, February 28th, and August 14th. The program cost will be $1,000 for the entire 3 day program. This will include all materials, supplies, as well as lunch and refreshments.

A Letter of Commitment will be required from the individual's President, VP, or Dean in order to be a confirmed program participant. The letter is required as the registration fee is non-refundable whether the participant attends all the workshops or not.

Attached is the Application and the Letter of Commitment form needed to apply.

The CTCLDA is looking forward to joining the participants for this great opportunity for leadership development and system-wide networking.

I had lost access to my emails earlier this week so I will accept applications until Friday November 2nd at Noon.
