[Wactclc-alma] [EXTERNAL] - Gale resources not resolving?

As Elena points out below, you do need to make sure your Gale loc_id is configured correctly in your collections and for Primo VE.

For Primo VE, go to  Alma  Configuration / Discovery / Other / Customing Linking for Central Index Databases.

Look for the entry for the gale_linking entry, and make sure it looks like:

http://link.galegroup.com/apps/doc/{{control/sourcerecordid}}/{{control/addsrcrecordid}}?sid=primo&u=moun28208

And replace moun28208 with your own Gale loc_id.
In your Gale collections configuration, go to 'edit service' and make sure your loc_id parameter on the linking tab is set you're your loc_id.

If you still have a linking issue on a gale citation, open a salesforce case with the Primo VE permalink and credentials that will work with your EZProxy instance.

If the problem happens outside of Primo, you'll want to contact Gale directly.

I think Elena's right, it happens for proxied links either through Primo or through our db page. I remember you posting about that now, Elena!! I thought I had seen something recently... but I guess I had too many tabs open to think clearly. I've submitted a Salesforce case on the off chance... but I will definitely check in with our local firewall folks ASAP.

Is it only happening when going to Gale resources through Primo, or is it happening when accessing Gale directly, too?

Hi all,
I'm not sure what happened, but our Gale resources aren't resolving - both the CDI links and the links to the resources proper. I've updated the Custom Linking section per this article:

I've checked the EZProxy stanza to make it match the most current at OCLC. And I checked that our Gale Location ID is correct and that our IP is correctly registered in our Gale admin.

What am I missing? Thanks for any guidance,
