[Wactclc-alma] QR Codes in Primo?

>From my quick testing it works well. It brings users to a search page and will include applied filters. It works on advanced search page too.

It did seem to fail for me once when I did an advanced search, then applied filters. May need more testing around this type of scenario to determine where it breaks.

I can definitely see this being useful when students are working on library computers and could be helpful during instruction sessions too - like sharing a link with students, or them sharing with us.

Sorry if this was discussed at one of the meetings (which I haven’t been able to attend). I’m seeing a QR code now in Primo. I’m wondering if anyone’s explored its functionality or know the full range of what it does? And how well it does it?



Anyone find that it’s better to disable/deactivate (if possible)?
