Meanwhile, Laura, just to clarify... Your students already authenticate to Primo with their campus account (which is I assume what they also use for Canvas).

EZProxy authentication is independent of Primo.

So, as Amy suggests, if you want EZProxy to authenticate using your campus accounts, EZProxy needs to be configured to do so (in the same way that Alma / Primo are configured to use campus authentication).

Hi Laura,
We do that on our campus.  Or rather, I.T. does.  Our students all are authenticated automatically to all services when on campus computers, using Active Directory, and when off campus they log in to all services, including Primo, our EZprox-ied databases, Canvas, etc. with their student email address and password.  I'm happy to put you or your I.T. department in touch with our I.T. department.

I've been asked to figure out if there is a way to authenticate users to Primo and our databases using the same log in as our patrons use for Canvas.
