[Wactclc-alma] Has anyone figured out a way to authenticate using Canvas Log-ins?

Hi Laura,

SPSCC's goal is to have a single sign-in for all of our services. We're using the same login for Office 365, Canvas, LibGuides, and EZProxy (for library databases and Primo). When I need integration, I send IT the technical documents the vendor provides and ask IT to help me do it. Here's what IT told me:

"We use Microsoft's ADFS as our frontend authentication.  Any 3rd party service that we would want to integrate our login with would have to be either an ADFS or a SAML service provider.  For example, Office 365 is an ADFS service, while Canvas is a SAML service.  EZproxy is also a SAML service.  Most of our 3rd party services are SAML service providers."

I've been asked to figure out if there is a way to authenticate users to Primo and our databases using the same log in as our patrons use for Canvas.
