Hello,

CIELO will be hosting a fundraiser to help family members at risk of deportation. The event will be Sunday, August 20, 2:00 pm-4:00 pm in Olympia. CIELO is the only bilingual, bicultural Latino center in the South Puget Sound area.  They offer educational, counseling and advocacy services to the Latino Community.

Subject: August 20 CIELO potluck/fundraiser publicity flyer (two attachments)

Thought you folks -  HRT and others -would be interested in providing support to this event. Fund raise for CIELO’s efforts supporting immigrant families.  Particular focus is to pay for passports.  Many children are USA citizens tho their parents may be undocumented.  It is important that these kids be able to prove their citizenship by having their own passport.   Each passport costs about $160 for all its elements.
