[Factc] Inviting Legislators

Did anyone invite Representative Drew Hansen (LD 23 - Kitsap)?


He is the Chair of the College and Workforce Development committee (formerly Higher Ed). His committee is hearing HB1300 which gives funding to the Reinvest in Our Colleges initiatives, and HB 1355 for Faculty Counselor standards and student ratios. He's holding a Study Session Wednesday for questions about Full/Part time ratios and other issues covered by the umbrella HB1300.


AFT's flyers on the Bills are attached; WEA should have something similar. We all testified at a hearing last week.

Another Bill on the EDI portion should be dropped soon.
