I also wanted to follow up and say that the WACTC Equity Committee welcomes ongoing meetings with you and the DEOC to discuss a variety of issues that you and I talked about, including (but not limited to!):
--clarifying the relationship between WACTC Equity Committee, DEOC, and overall WACTC structure
--discuss our collective stance on the importance of DEI in our system
--discuss proactive messaging around the upcoming election cycle. Additionally, our committee is interested in discussing the following:
--how our system can better support SOCC and FSOCC
--how can our system better support MSSDC and which WACTC committee should they be reporting to for their work plan
--a Presidents’ and Chancellor’s Academy for WACTC (all the presidents and chancellors in the system) on leading with equity to be offered May 23 at Pierce College Puyallup).

Sophia, would you be able to help us get some time scheduled to continue the conversations?
