Robert,
I wanted to let you know that through our discussions at WACTC Equity Committee, we realized that the DEOC does not have representation on any other WACTC committees.  This was likely an oversight based on the timing of when DEOC was established and the chaos of COVID.  (I’m speculating about that since I wasn’t involved at that point.)

Regardless of why it happened, we all agreed, both at our committee and with all of WACTC, that we want to explicitly invite DEOC to participate.

I know that they would welcome a representative from DEOC.  We do recognize that the DEO’s roles require a great deal of work and time, and there is not an expectation that DEOC send a representative to every committee (you will see that no other Commissions have representatives on each committee).  However, we felt it important to let the DEO’s know that participation is invited and welcome, as there is capacity.

Please let me know if I can further support this particular invitation.
