Hello DEOC,

I have chosen to leave WVC after 8 years. Just wanted to say it was a pleasure to work with all of you! I am yet another DEOC member leaving. My College claims it doesn’t have funding for a cabinet level DEI position and has expected me to be doing 3 jobs (they also made me the Project Director for our HSI Title V grant). I feel my only option is to resign in protest. I hope you can all continue to advocate for Colleges across the State to prioritize DEI work and not to make the positions combined with other responsibilities.
