Season’s Greetings!

We wanted you to be aware that the student facing WASFA site will look different for students when they log into their accounts, starting next week. Please note, however, that there are no changes to how institutions will be receiving WASFA information through the WSAC Portal.

Please be aware that the student WASFA site is anticipated to be down from Monday, 12/18 – Tuesday, 12/19.

The Washington Application for State Financial Aid (WASFA) student portal has a new look and feel!

•         The platform has a new mobile-friendly look and feel.

•         Applications needed, in progress, or previously submitted can be accessed from the Dashboard page or on the Documents page.

However, much of the process remains the same:

•         WSAC portal WASFA information available, will remain the same.

•         Access to the WASFA application, as well as new and existing user guides, will be found on the WSAC WASFA page<https://wsac.wa.gov/wasfa>.

•         Student’s Login information, including username and password, remains the same as in previous years.

•         Students will be able to complete a new application, edit an existing application, and view previously submitted applications.

•         Please note: students must submit a new WASFA each year to be considered for financial aid.

Applications for the 2023-24 academic year are available now.

We will notify you when applications for the 2024-25 academic year are available to be completed.
