Hello,

We are excited to share an upcoming User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activity that we are asking colleges to participate in. The Report Definition security changes will be implemented into production pending the outcome of testing. During UAT, users will be reviewing security changes and testing Report functionality to confirm these changes are working as intended. The impacted users are those who maintain 3C Communication Templates, which is typically 1-5 users per college. Staff members who send 3C communications, but do not edit or maintain the templates are not impacted by this change.  SBCTC will be creating supporting documentation that includes further information on the changes users will experience.


If you are interested in learning more about these changes, SBCTC will host a UAT kickoff session to provide an overview and allow users to get hands on experience with the system changes. The overview will be recorded and distributed so users can continue their testing post-session.

Users will be able to continue testing after this session. Testing will end on October 13th.

To prepare for UAT, we ask that colleges please send a list of EMPLIDs of staff who plan to participate in testing by September 29, 2023. The college users participating in this UAT should include LSAs who update security access, and end users who maintain 3C Communication Templates . Please email this list of EMPLIDs to cstein at sbctc.edu<mailto:cstein at sbctc.edu> and be sure not to include any personally identifiable information (the list of EMPLIDs is just fine!). This will help us ensure user access is setup before UAT begins.
