[ctcLinkfinaidsupport] Recording Available - Pell Reconciliation Refresher 11/14/2023

Good morning,

Thank you to all who participated in the training session for the Pell Reconciliation Refresher on Tuesday 11/14/2023.

The session recording and slide deck (also attached) have been posted to the Processing Pell Payment & Direct Loans Canvas Course, and is also linked below:

If you have not registered for the Canvas Training course, you will receive an 'access denied' message when selecting the above link.  You may register for the course(s) at the ctcLink Training Registration<https://www.sbctc.edu/colleges-staff/it-support/ctclink/ctclink-training-registration.aspx> page.  To access the module, if you have not completed the course before, you must progress through all modules to view the recording.

Additionally, we discussed in the session about having to request the pgrc file monthly from COD.  Here is an example screenshot (Thank you, Kim Geer of LWIT!) on how to request the pgrc file type.  Remember, ctcLink uses fixed-length files, not delimited files.  Delimited files are not compatible in ctcLink.

Additionally, for all the Pell Destination Point Administrators (DPAs), you should be receiving the pgas and pgsm files in your EdConnect queue monthly.
