Good Afternoon, FA Community!

Thank you to the 17 colleges who have responded so far to the survey about the Solution Design for SAP #11 – S & P Grades Not Showing As “MEET”! As a reminder, we require approval from a minimum of 90% of ctcLink colleges in order to proceed with the solution development. At this time, we only have responses from 51.5% colleges, so please be sure to complete the survey by the end of business TOMORROW, Wednesday, July 26th.

We still need a submission from your college even if you are choosing to abstain. We do have an option to select that as a response within the survey.

Hello FA Community,

We are ready to share our proposed solution for the next SAP item from the FAST Maintenance List! Attached is the Solution Design Document (SDD) for SAP #11 – S & P Grades Not Showing As “MEET”. Please read through it thoroughly and provide your feedback via the survey linked below. In this survey we also ask that that colleges indicate whether or not they will be testing during the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) phase, and if so, who their testers will be. Please complete the survey by the end of business on Friday, July 26th.
Overview of SAP #11 – S & P Grades Not Showing As “MEET”

  *   Issue: Classes with a Grading Basis configuration of Exclude from GPA = No GPA Earned Units on the Term History > Term Statistics page. For Pass/Fail type classes, SAP is incorrectly failing.  If a student ONLY has Graded Units for Pass/Fail classes, the system should not “FAIL” to meet the minimum GPA for the term.
  *   Proposed Solution: Modify the programming logic of the Minimum Current GPA test. Use the GPA value for students with a Cumulative Earned Units value greater than 0.00 and Term Statistics that have a For GPA Graded Units value greater than 0.00. If For GPA Graded Units value = 0.00, then use a new NGPA configured value for the resulting SAP Status for the Minimum Current GPA test.

High Level Timeline

  *   7/12 – Colleges review Solution Design Document (SDD) for SAP #11 S & P Grades Not Showing As “MEET”
  *   7/26 – Colleges to submit completed Solution Design Confirmation survey back to FA Support by end of business day

     *   We require approval from a minimum of 90% of ctcLink colleges in order to proceed with the solution development

  *   8/8 – User Acceptance Testing (UAT) walk-through and kick-off session (Save the date coming soon!)
  *   8/9 – User Acceptance Testing (UAT) begins
  *   8/25 – Colleges testers submit completed sign off UAT Survey due to SBCTC by end of business day
  *   8/31 – Target implementation in Production
