Greetings, colleagues,

We conference planners hope you are enjoying these early weeks of summer and that you are also looking excitedly toward this fall's 29th annual Washington State Faculty and Staff of Color Conference (FSOCC). This year's conference theme is "On the Rise: BIPOC Excellence, Empowerment, and Action." BIPOC is the acronym for Black, Indigenous, and people of color.

Who: The conference is open to all and geared toward faculty and staff at Washington's community and technical colleges and employees at the State Board for Community and Technical Colleges (SBCTC). Each year we are also joined by attendees from four-year institutions across our state and two- and four-year institutions from Oregon and Idaho.
When: Tuesday, October 29 - Thursday, October 31, 2024

Call for proposals: Look for an email from me with guidelines if you would like to facilitate a workshop. Proposals are due no later than Sunday, August 4.
