Good morning everyone,

I hope you are having a fabulous start to the week to go along with this amazing weather! Since I was elected last week as the new MSSDC President, I wanted to get started on collaborations with WSSSC and DEOC to create better engagement from our MSSDC representatives. In the last year and a half, the most institutions we have seen at a meeting were 13 represented. We have heard a variety of reasons why many don't or can't engage and I feel that we need more buy in to make efforts such as the Students of Color Conference successful! Please see the attached letter and I ask that you please share with your colleagues on your commissions and anyone you feel appropriate to at the state board office.
