Good afternoon, colleagues:

Based on college feedback, we have simplified both the process to submit and to track ctcLink Enhancement Requests (ERs). I am pleased to share these changes which went into effect March 15, 2023.

How to submit an Enhancement Request

How to check the status of an Enhancement Request

The ctcLink Enhancement Request Status<https://ctclinkreferencecenter.ctclink.us/m/116163/l/1655339-enhancement-request-status> lists are updated the first and third Wednesday of each month to align with the ctcLink Working Group calendar<https://www.sbctc.edu/colleges-staff/it-support/ctclink-governance/working-group-governance>.

  *   You can see where each Enhancement Request is in the governance review process, approval status, and/or any other actions taken.
  *   The downloadable spreadsheets with multiple tabs allow you to review and sort the data you need.

ER ticket submission process

All Enhancement Requests will be stored in the Service Desk (SolarWinds) ticketing system under a NEW Request Type “Enhancement Request.” This is a change from simply tracking the Enhancement Request submission as a Service Request.

The ER ticket submission process in SolarWinds ticketing system is currently being configured and we will announce updates at the April 5, 2023, ctcLink Working Group meeting.

Until this work is completed all new Enhancement Requests will be submitted to ctclinkcustomersupport at sbctc.edu<mailto:ctclinkcustomersupport at sbctc.edu>.
