Subject: Celebrating 50 years of Pell Grants

Good morning, PIOs:

Pell Grants are about to turn 50 years old! We're working with the public and private four-year universities, the College Promise Coalition, and others to recognize this milestone on June 23. As we all know, students tell our story best, so we're looking for students to tell their story about how Pell Grants affected them.

The College Promise Coalition is collecting stories of past and current Pell recipients to share in places like op-eds, social media posts, and the like. They're offering a $50 gift card to five randomly selected participants, too.
