This critical full-time position oversees dual credit and K-12 alignment of work for the Education Division.

The Dual Credit and K-12 Alignment Director creates a vision and collaboratively develops strategic goals to elevate Washington's community and technical colleges as national leaders in dual credit and K-12 initiatives. The Director, together with fellow agency staff, fosters and maintains pivotal partnerships and connections across Washington's K-12 and higher education systems to shape and drive policies leading to a seamless and robust educational pipeline for Washington State. Under your leadership, the Dual Credit and K-12 Alignment Director will:
* Advance and lead dual credit strategies for Washington State's system of 34 community and technical colleges.
* Provide policy direction and guidance for dual credit programs in the CTC system.
* Develop and sustain collaborative partnerships with vice presidents (Instruction and Student Services), instructional deans and dual credit managers, K-12 system (OSPI), state agencies, national associations, and philanthropic organizations to further develop and advocate for dual credit pathways.
* Promote and support research pertaining to dual credit initiatives. Analyze and synthesize data and information to inform planning, develop policy, and make decisions.
* Integrate equity, diversity, and inclusion efforts into dual credit strategies.
This position is based in Olympia, Washington and involves extensive travel in- and out-of-state.
The annual salary is $121,632.
