Subject: BAS New Degree Program Proposal-Peer Reviewers

Hello Joe, Jenni, Cherie, and John,

I hope that you are well. I need assistance from you to recruit a new BAS program proposal peer review committee. Chapter 4 of the SBCTC Policy Manual outlines protocol for the BAS program proposal peer review process. The peer reviewer volunteers that I had last year ended their volunteer cycle in June 2021. Per the policy manual, three (3) volunteers from each of the following areas are required:


  *   IC - 3 volunteers
  *   WSSSC - 3 volunteers
  *   Budget/Finance - 3 volunteers

I welcome your recommendations of individuals in your councils/commissions who may have an interest in this volunteer opportunity. It would be great to have volunteers who are willing to serve as BAS program proposal reviewers for two full cycles, or two years. I have attached details related to the role, so that you may share with your councils. Please let me know if you, or individuals that you contact, have questions. I need feedback by August 12, 2021. The first set of BAS proposals may be distributed to BAS program proposal peer reviewers as early as August 26, 2021.
