[Wsssc] Everfi Update

Good morning, WSSSC-ers. I participated in a call today with our new Everfi contact person, Holly Peterson (email hpeterson at everfi.com<mailto:hpeterson at everfi.com>, phone 214-941-0920). She updated us on the migration of colleges to the Foundry platform, and alerted us to an upcoming Campus Prevention Network (CPN) virtual annual meeting next week on July 13 and 15. She is sending information and I will forward it when it arrives.

Some interesting stats about our usage:


*       28 of our colleges have migrated to the Foundry platform so far

*       23,478 of your students have already enrolled in a sexual assault prevention (SAP) course on the Foundry platform

*       Most of you are using SAP for community college students, followed by SAP for undergraduate students and then SAP for adult learners

Holly also told us about their CPN Seal of Prevention that institutions can seek, and about courses in Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging that just launched.

As a reminder, we have a one-year extension with Everfi this year that will take us through June of 2022, but we have been advised that we will need to run an RFP (competitive) process this coming academic year for a vendor to begin in summer of 2022. Everfi could successfully bid for it, but they will need to compete. We are still in need of 3 of you to serve on the RFP committee with 3 HR directors and SBCTC staff. Please let me or Chio know if you are interested and willing to serve in that capacity.  Thanks!
