[Wsssc] A question for you

Have any of you utilized tracking software to determine use patterns for student support services (e.g., tutoring, counseling, library, student health clinic, etc.)?  I'm thinking the sort of arrangement wherein a student uses their ID or other card with a magnetic strip to access said services so the institution can then determine the who, when, and how often of usage.  If any of you have experience with this I'd be interested in knowing what software or other tools you utilized.
