Hi Everyone:

CPC is eager to hear from students who are in postsecondary programs about the value of higher education, financial aid, and support services in their lives. As in past years, these stories form the heart of our communications effort during legislative session.

An ask: Please distribute our student voices survey<https://www.google.com/url?q=https://forms.gle/M26233jcQXwaRcp69&source=gmail-imap&ust=1603228892000000&usg=AOvVaw2jyVvxgPYMoPOULApU4tVc> to your networks, particularly those of you who interface with students. Those of you who work for institutions – we would like to get a broad cross section of representation!

Below is a sample email for you to send. We will hold a drawing for a couple of gift cards as a thank you/incentive for the students who participate. The deadline is Nov. 13.

We work together to ensure Washington students can pursue and achieve post-high school credentials - such as a degree, apprenticeship, or certificate - that lead to career and community success in our state.

Your voice matters! CPC wants to hear from students who are in postsecondary education programs about why education after high school is important to you, how financial aid (especially the Washington College Grant) is helping you achieve your education and career goals, and services that are supporting you on your journey (like academic advising, mental health counseling, food and housing resources, etc.). Your experiences and stories will help make the case for ongoing investments in postsecondary education in Washington during the upcoming legislative session.
