[Wsssc] Slate: WSSSC Executive Board

Good afternoon, commissioners! We hope that this message finds you well and excited for the first-ever fully-virtual WSSSC meeting later this week.

In preparation for the meeting, below is the slate of officers for the WSSSC Executive Board. Voting on the slate is one of the last orders of business in the Spring Meeting. As mentioned previously, two of the officer roles are filled per the bylaws: president and past-president, Sue Orchard and Jess Gilmore English respectively.

The slate of officers for consideration at the WSSSC meeting is:


  *   President:                    Sue Orchard
  *   President-elect:            Chio Flores
  *   Treasurer:                    Scott Latiolais
  *   Secretary:                    Erin Blakeney

The nominating committee (which included Ruby Hayden, Bill Belden, and me) conducted outreach to find willing nominees (self-proclaimed and otherwise) for the three officer positions, as well as for folks interested in at-large positions and some WACTC committee reps. Appointments to the at-large and WACTC committees will be made by the president once officers are elected in order to assure broad diversity on the executive team.
