[Wsssc] ctcLink Steering Committee opportunity

Dear Colleagues,



As ctcLink continues to move forward, one of the important pieces of the puzzle is a collaborative, decisive, and well-represented governance system for the project. The ctcLink Steering Committee, situated between the oversight role of the ctcLink Executive Committee and the operationally focused ctcLink Working Group, is where most of the Policy, Budget, and Priority setting for the project occurs.



At this time, the Steering Committee is seeking nominations for two current openings on the committee. There is one opening for a Project Manager and another for an Executive Sponsor. In addition, we would keep nominees in a pool so that as future openings occur, we can fill them in a timely manner.



The nominations will be read, evaluated, and selected by a team consisting of three Steering Committee members, Kurt Buttleman (Seattle Colleges), Choi Halladay (Pierce College), and Tim Wrye (Highline College); one ctcLink Executive Member, Kevin Brockbank (Spokane Community College); and the ctcLink Project Director, Christy Campbell.



Although the membership of the Steering Committee is not specified to be distributed by size, type, or geography of the SBTCTC colleges, currently there are no members from colleges in DG5 or DG6, nor are there any members from a Technical College. Nominees from those colleges are highly encouraged.
