Good afternoon everyone,
On behalf of the advisory board, we are pleased to be able to provide this exciting leadership development opportunity once again for the 2019-20 academic year. This program is specifically for those that identify as a person of color and have an interest in an administration role within the Community and Technical College system. Please note that last year we only focused on Instruction and Student Services divisions, this year we are expanding and including all divisions(HR, IT, Business Office, IR, etc.) that have an interest in the program. If you are a full time faculty member, manager/director or associate dean/dean and have aspirations of moving into and up the administration pipeline then this professional development opportunity is for you. This leadership program utilizes Critical Race Theory as the framework and will help you to develop your career plan.
Attached you will find the Program Overview and Application. If you could please distribute both to anyone you feel would be interested in benefiting from this Leadership development program it would be greatly appreciated. The deadline to submit is Friday, June 14 (or until filled).
