I just received a request as follows from a DG3 ARC member:


We need WSSC to request a customization of PS. In ctcLink Advising Center, there is an option for the advisor/staff to select a button to notify all of their advisees. The default is to place all students on the To: line and the only way to put them on the BCC line is to cut and paste. This is a FERPA red flag, but SBCTC will not make a change unless this goes through the governance group.

Is this something you can just pass along to WSSSC or do you need a letter request from ARC?  It seems to me that since it’s a FERPA violation it just needs to be requested?
