[Wsssc] Spring Meeting Agenda & Outcomes

Good evening, all! As we round the mid-point of April, we are just a couple weeks away from the Spring WSSSC Meeting. In preparation, please find a copy of the agenda (in Word & PDF) and a document listing the objectives/outcomes for each of the sessions. (Please note that the agenda is always subject to change up to - and even during - the meeting). ☺

Please note the following:


  1.  There will be an NWAC meeting for those interested on Wednesday from 3-5pm. Location is not set yet, but I believe we will be at Community Colleges of Spokane central offices a few blocks from the hotel.
  2.  Thursday’s Commission Meeting will occur at Spokane Community College.
  3.  Friday’s Commission Meeting will occur at Spokane Falls Community College.
  4.  A link to access the meeting via Zoom is included at the top of the agenda.
  5.  The presentation of the executive committee slate and election of new officers will occur on Thursday afternoon as I unfortunately will not be present to facilitate the process on Friday.
  6.  There is still time to nominate yourself or others for the slate!

Finally, a huge thank you to those of you who were able to complete the survey that we sent out. It helped us confirm some elements of the agenda (front-loading council/liaison reports and the AAG legal landscape where the big winners …jury is still out on the pod/roundtable set-up). We will also be taking all of the professional development topics and prioritization into account as we look ahead and intentionally plan out our structured learning through the next year. This information and guidance will also be helpful as we plan next year’s Student Success Conference.
