Hi All,

We will likely be attending this meeting just in the beginning and not the full length of the meeting but we're waiting for the agenda to come out.  Please review the questions below as well for some of the things we'll be discussing with the group.  Look forward to seeing you all there.

Outreach Coordinators Topics to Discuss

  1.  How are college staff acting as honest brokers for the other colleges, especially when they meet with a prospective student who is interested in a program not offered by their institution?
  2.  How are outreach staff identifying locations to perform outreach? Either sharing printed materials or to go in-person for outreach activities?
  3.  How are outreach staff identifying local events to attend in representing their college and sharing information?
     *   Is there a structure or communication plan in place to check for overlap at these events? Or, to share out opportunities for community engagement?
  4.  How are outreach staff tracking or documenting where they are doing outreach? Are they tracking how many people they engage with?
     *   Are they reporting this to their supervisor or to other outreach staff?
  5.  What support do outreach staff need? (keeping this one open ended)
  6.  How can new hires best connect to the group?
  7.  Who is doing CAT/TB workshops? How are you coordinating with WorkSource? Are any staff coordinating with WorkSource for any college-related workshops or outreach?
     *   Ideas for better partnering with WorkSource to identify displaced workers? Support needs in connecting with WorkSource?
     *   Who from each college attends the ctc/WorkSource quarterly meetings? Who attends connection site meetings?
