Thanks Hannah!  That was a big help.

It also helped when I stopped looking at a Proquest database and switched to looking an EBSCO database. Once I was looking at an EBSCO electronic collection in Alma, I finally saw an OPID field. 🤣🤣🤣

I can confirm that putting your OPID code in the linking parser parameter in Alma lets you connect to articles in EBSCO databases from Primo if you were unable to connect before.

Off to update our 20+ EBSCO electronic collections in Alma. 😭

It will be ok!

Sure, sorry! And unfortunately you have to email Ebscohost's customer service to get your OPID - just customer id might work, you could try it; I had both so I just put in both! Not too long ago they came out with this OPID thing so I asked for ours then, I just didn't put it in because it was working fine back then and I'm a big believer in if it ain't broke, don't fix it!

In the electronic collection editor, under the Additional tab, scroll down to services and click on Full Text, then go to the linking tab and scroll down to the linking parser parameters:

Do you have customerid and opid filled out in your collections' linking settings? Adding them seems to be fixing it for us.

Their tech support says that the problem is at Ebscohost end. Here’s her advice:

It looks to me like Primo is correctly applying your proxy, so it's linking out. The problem is occurring when EBSCOhost takes the reins, so to speak, and tries to redirect to the resource.

Is anyone having issues with accessing articles from EBSCO in Primo? I have tried accessing a few articles with no success. I keep getting the error message below.
