[Wactclc-primo] Alma / Primo Call - Feb 11, 2020

We've just started loading COUNTER reports into Alma. And by "just" I mean "less than 3 weeks ago." The process was easier than we expected it to be.  We're holding off on setting up SUSHI harvesting for a bit.  I keep seeing comments (like Elena's) on the listservs about problems people are having with SUSHI.  I decided that I wanted to minimize complications in my life and first focus on getting the data into Alma via a low tech method that was easy to manage.  I can ask the other librarians on our Stats committee if they'd be willing to join the call next week to share our initial experiences.


It will be ok!

For next week’s call and discussion about COUNTER / SUSHI, SJ at Shoreline as volunteered to share Shoreline’s experience with COUNTER / SUSHI with some of their subscriptions.

I would really like to have another couple of people willing to share their experiences and settings as well.

A consortium works best when its members are sharing their skills, experience and knowledge.
