For those on Primo VE, please be aware of this issue with citation missing publication year for journal articles.

Looks like a fix is scheduled for December Alma release (remember, Primo VE and Alma updates occur on a simultaneous monthly schedule)

I have heard from ExLibris that it is scheduled for December

[URM-96477] Citation generator: missing publication year for journal articles. The solution is scheduled to be part of December release (we are also planning to extend citation formatting capabilities)

Hi Caroline,

I can confirm I'm seeing the bug on our Primo VE as well so it does look like it is a wide spread issue.  Thanks for identifying and letting us know.

I'll log a case quoting yours.  Hopefully a fix is imminent!

We noticed this issue as well and opened a case (00589088) on 8/28.  This issue is mainly for journal articles and applies to all citation format (APA, Harvard 1, MLA, and Chicago).  Ex Libris is working on a fix (URM-96477<https://jira.exlibrisgroup.com/browse/URM-96477>).

We are about to go live with Primo VE and have discovered a bug with dates in Citations, which seems to be system wide.

The symptoms are:

Citations are showing with (n.d) in APA instead of the date (2016) when the date field contains more than just the year. In other Citation formats the date is just missing. In Primo Explore the dates are fine.

Eg when date is 2016 Mar as in the attached example, or  say 2013-10-13.

In Primo Explore the dates are fine.

We have added a Salesforce case

Our ExLibris implementer says that no one else has reported it!  We would appreciate it if Institutions on  Primo VE could check their instances and put in Salesforce cases quoting our case. It would be great to get this fixed quickly!
