[Wactclc-primo] Physical item does not come up as "Available in the library"

Thanks Tammy for the suggestion but the item was checked in. A staff member pointed out that they couldn't find it when searching specifically for items in the library. She mentioned that she had seen other titles that she knew that were on the self but weren't showing up as 'Available".

Interestingly enough the item I had as an example now says that it is available. Curious.

Are the items checked out?  If so, they are not "available in the library" even though they are in your repository.

Has anyone come up with titles in Primo that do not show as physically "Available" even though it is? The record is not suppressed and does come up in a both a general search and author search but does not appear when you select "Available in the Library"

Here is a screenshot of "Easy Writer" 6th and 4th editions. Both show as available.

Now if a user selects "Available in the Library" only the 4th ed. Appears -

In Alma the only difference between the records (besides the ISBN and edition number) is that the 4th ed. has an embedded record number in the 004 Holdings line while the 6th ed. does not.
