Katy, what is that case number?

I don't see it in Sales Force. So, you may be using an SF account that isn't linked to the consortium yet.

Hi all -
We actually entered a SalesForce ticket about this issue in October. Here are two responses from exlibris. The first on 10/10:
"This record is coming from your activation of AccessScience in the Primo Central Index (Resource Collections Activation). This collection is a 'Link in Record' collection, which means that once you activate it, all records from the collection will appear as 'Full Text Available' in your Primo site, and the full text status will not be calculated based on resource activations in Alma.

However, it does seem odd that this record is included in AccessScience. It seems like it should be part of McGraw-Hill eBook Library instead (which uses Link Resolver availability information based on the Alma holdings file).

I am transferring the case to the Primo Central Index team to have them verify whether the record should really be part of AccessScience. If not it can be removed so that it does not show in your Primo site any longer."

And then on 11/09:
"I would like to update you that the issue with AccessScience collection is a know issue that is already being handled by our Publisher Relation support team.
We will update you as soon as we have more information."

So still unresolved, but being worked on. We're keeping AccessScience activated until this case is closed.

Since it's a monolithic database collection, no way to selectively activate content, unfortunately.

You could add a public note to the Alma collection, saying something to the effect that "Some content in the AccessSciences may not be available to Pierce College"

That's a pretty nuanced bit of information for many users, I realize. But maybe better than removing the content all together.

Hi all,

Just curious how many of you have AccessScience activated in your PCI/Alma.

We do and last week we found some records from AccessEngineering in our Primo.

You can see that despite metadata that says "AccessEngineering" and a link to the AccessEngineering Library, the Source clearly says "AccessScience."

So we're trying to decide if should just deactivate this collection in PCI/Alma, rather than get results that we don't really own. The flipside is it would take actual AccessScience results out of Primo as well.

Anyone else struggled with this decision?
