[Wactclc-primo] Opting out of notices

Elena,

Patrons can only opt out of the notices that you configure for self-serve opt out in Alma.

If patrons "opt out" of other notices in the Primo interface, they'll still get those notices. Opting out of the non-optional notices doesn't really do anything for them.

Of the top of my head, I'm not sure how to suppress the display of the non-optional notices in the my account interface in Primo.

Let me look into it, and I'll post back to this thread. I'm guessing it's either a CSS thing, or a setting in the PBO.

Subject: [Wactclc-primo] Opting out of notices

Does anyone know how to disable the Opt out of overdue notices function in a users account in Primo? We want to allow them to opt out of some notices, but not the overdue notices. I've been looking through the Help pages, and it seems that changing the settings in the User Management Confiiguration /configuration/user details/library notices opt in will change it in Alma, but the changes I made there don't seem to correspond in Primo. The sample patron is still able to opt out of their overdue notices in primo. Does it take a while for those changes to happen, or do I need to set the opt in/out options for Primo someplace else?
